What this does
You already have dooee on your iPhone. These connections let ChatGPT, Claude, or Codex add a loose end to your Personal list when you ask.
They cannot see your existing items. They cannot edit, complete, or delete anything. dooee still owns the title, the due window, and any later work.
Siri and Shortcuts do not use this address. On iPhone, say Add to dooee or run the Add to dooee shortcut.
Before you start
- Install dooee and sign in with Apple.
- Open Settings and confirm you see Apps that can add.
- Keep your iPhone nearby. You will approve the connection once.
The dooee address
Paste this address exactly, including /mcp:
https://qualified-frog-228.convex.site/mcp
A shorter mcp.heydooee.com address is coming. Use the address above until then.
ChatGPT
Developer mode is required until dooee is listed in ChatGPT’s directory.
- In ChatGPT, open Settings → Security and login and turn on Developer mode.
- Open Settings → Apps, or chatgpt.com/plugins.
- Create an app. Name it dooee.
- Paste the dooee address, including /mcp.
- If ChatGPT asks how to sign in, choose OAuth. Leave client ID and client secret blank.
- If it asks for a scope, use obligations:create.
- On the dooee page, Sign in with Apple or tap Approve in dooee on your iPhone. Do not refresh that page.
- In a new chat, open the + menu, choose Developer mode, and enable dooee.
Then say: Add to dooee: pick up pizza from Costco.
Claude
Custom connectors work on Claude, Claude Desktop, and Cowork. Free plans can add one custom connector.
- Open Customize → Connectors, or claude.ai/settings/connectors.
- Add a custom connector.
- Name it dooee and paste the dooee address, including /mcp.
- Leave Advanced OAuth client ID and secret empty.
- Click Add, then Connect.
- On the dooee page, Sign in with Apple or tap Approve in dooee on your iPhone. Do not refresh that page.
- In a chat, open + → Connectors and turn dooee on.
Team and Enterprise owners add the connector once under Organization settings → Connectors. Everyone else then taps Connect.
Then say: Add to dooee: pick up pizza from Costco.
Codex
In a terminal:
codex mcp add dooee --url 'https://qualified-frog-228.convex.site/mcp'
codex mcp login dooee --scopes obligations:createA browser opens the same dooee page. Sign in with Apple or tap Approve in dooee on your iPhone before the login command times out. Do not refresh that page.
Confirm with codex mcp list. dooee should show as enabled, with OAuth. Then ask Codex to add the item. It should confirm after dooee returns an id.
What you should see
- The item lands on Personal, not Found.
- The row shows that ChatGPT, Claude, or Codex added it.
- dooee does not start work on it.
- Asking again with the same wording may return a duplicate instead of a second row.
Disconnect
In dooee, open Settings → Apps that can add and remove the app. That only stops future adds. Existing items stay on your list.
If something stalls
Sign in with Apple shows an invalid redirect
Approve in the dooee app instead, then try Apple again later.
The dooee page asks you to create an account
Open the iPhone app, sign in, and start the connection again.
Codex still says it is not logged in
The app may already show the connection. Run the login command again and approve while it is listening.
ChatGPT or Claude cannot find the server
Check the address ends with /mcp and that you enabled the connector in that conversation.
