What dooee does

dooee helps you capture, organize, understand, and act on personal tasks and loose ends. With your permission, dooee can connect to services such as Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Drive, Cal.com, and websites you choose. It uses artificial intelligence to identify potential obligations, structure tasks, prepare proposed actions, and assist with user-authorized execution.

You control which connected services you enable and may disconnect them through the app.

02

Information we collect

The information we collect depends on which features you use.

Account and profile information

When you create or access an account using Sign in with Apple, we may receive:

  • An Apple-specific account identifier
  • Your name, if Apple provides it
  • Your email address or Apple private relay address, if Apple provides it
  • Authentication and session information

We may also collect information you enter into your profile, including your display name, timezone, general location, preferences, communication tone, and information you ask dooee to remember.

We do not receive your Apple Account password.

Tasks and other content you provide

We collect content you submit or create through the Service, including:

  • Tasks, captures, reminders, notes, messages, and instructions
  • Photos, screenshots, documents, URLs, and text shared with dooee
  • Voice transcripts
  • Drafts, proposed actions, approvals, and execution instructions
  • Feedback about tasks, suggestions, or completed actions
  • Preferences, household context, relationships, and other information you deliberately ask dooee to remember
  • Receipts, outcomes, and evidence created while completing a task

This content may contain information about other people. Please only provide information you are authorized to use.

A profile photo selected through Apple’s photo picker is processed and stored locally on your device. It is not uploaded to dooee’s servers.

Connected Google services

If you choose to connect a Google account, dooee may access information authorized by the permissions shown during Google’s consent process. Depending on the features you enable, this may include:

  • Gmail messages and message metadata, including sender and recipient information, subjects, timestamps, thread identifiers, and relevant message content
  • Google Calendar events and event metadata
  • Google Drive documents, files, and file metadata
  • Your connected Google account identity and aliases
  • Draft or outgoing content that you direct dooee to prepare, create, update, or send

dooee uses this information only to provide and improve the user-facing features you request.

dooee’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

We do not use Google user data to create, train, or improve generalized or foundational artificial-intelligence models.

Connected websites and execution services

When you ask dooee to interact with a website or online service, we may process:

  • The website and approved web origins
  • Account hints and connection status
  • Page content needed to understand or complete your request
  • Information you enter into forms
  • Files you ask dooee to upload or download
  • Browser observations, action history, and evidence needed to verify an outcome
  • Website session tokens, cookies, or credentials when you expressly authorize a persistent connection

Website credentials and session secrets are stored in a separate encrypted credential vault. The primary dooee database stores opaque references and connection metadata rather than the underlying secrets.

Your use of a connected website remains subject to that website’s own privacy policy and terms.

Device and technical information

We may collect:

  • An app installation identifier
  • Push-notification token and permission status
  • Device timezone
  • App version and configuration
  • Feature interactions, processing timestamps, and operational events
  • Error, security, and diagnostic information
  • IP address and basic network-request information processed by our hosting providers

We use this information to operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the Service. dooee does not use advertising SDKs or track your activity across other companies’ apps and websites.

Microphone, speech recognition, photos, and files

dooee requests access only when you use a feature that needs it:

  • When you hold the voice-capture control, microphone audio is processed through Apple’s speech-recognition service. dooee does not save the audio recording. A resulting transcript is retained only if you submit it.
  • Apple’s photo and file pickers allow you to choose specific items. dooee does not receive unrestricted access to your photo library.
  • Notification permission is used to deliver reminders, task updates, and requests requiring your attention.

You can change these permissions in iPhone Settings.

03

How we use information

We use personal information to:

  • Create, authenticate, and maintain your account
  • Provide, personalize, and synchronize the Service
  • Convert captures and connected-service content into tasks
  • Identify reminders, obligations, deadlines, and relevant context
  • Generate drafts and proposed actions
  • Carry out actions you authorize
  • Connect to and operate third-party services you select
  • Send notifications and deep links
  • Maintain task history, receipts, and outcome evidence
  • Detect abuse, prevent unauthorized access, and protect users
  • Diagnose errors and maintain service reliability
  • Evaluate the accuracy and safety of classifications and workflows
  • Respond to support and privacy requests
  • Comply with applicable law and enforce our agreements

We do not use personal information for third-party advertising.

04

Artificial intelligence

dooee sends information relevant to a task to artificial-intelligence service providers, including Anthropic, to classify content, structure tasks, generate drafts, and help perform user-facing actions.

Depending on the feature, this information may include message excerpts, task content, attachments, profile context, connected-account content, and information visible on a website you asked dooee to use.

We do not use your content to train generalized or foundational AI models, and we do not authorize our AI service providers to use it for that purpose. Anthropic states that commercial API inputs and outputs are not used for model training unless the customer explicitly opts in.

Under Anthropic’s standard API retention terms, API inputs and outputs may be retained for up to 30 days, except where a different retention arrangement applies or longer retention is required for safety, abuse prevention, or legal compliance.

AI-generated results may be incomplete or incorrect. You should review important information and proposed actions before relying on them. dooee is not designed to make solely automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects about you.

05

How we disclose information

We disclose information only as necessary for the following purposes.

Service providers

We use service providers to operate the Service, including:

  • Apple for Sign in with Apple, push notifications, speech recognition, and iOS platform services
  • Convex for application hosting, authentication, database storage, and file storage
  • Fly.io for isolated application workers and browser-execution infrastructure
  • Anthropic for AI classification and generation
  • Composio for OAuth connections and authorized integrations with services such as Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Drive, and Cal.com
  • Google when you connect or direct actions involving Google services
  • Amazon Web Services, including AWS Key Management Service, for encryption-key operations
  • Other websites and services you expressly direct dooee to access

We require service providers to process personal information only for the services they provide to us, protect it consistently with applicable law, and apply appropriate deletion or return requirements.

At your direction

We disclose information when you direct dooee to send an email, update a calendar, upload a document, submit a form, communicate with another person, or otherwise interact with an external service.

Legal and safety reasons

We may disclose information where reasonably necessary to:

  • Comply with law, regulation, court order, or valid legal process
  • Protect the rights, safety, and security of users, dooee, or others
  • Investigate fraud, abuse, or security incidents
  • Establish, exercise, or defend legal claims

Business transfers

If dooee is involved in a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets, personal information may be transferred as part of that transaction. Any recipient will be required to honor the commitments in this Policy unless you are notified otherwise.

No sale or behavioral advertising

We do not sell personal information.

We do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, serve targeted advertisements, or use connected-account content for advertising.

06

Retention and deletion

We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Service, fulfill the purposes described in this Policy, protect the Service, or comply with legal obligations.

Current retention practices include:

  • Unclaimed guest captures expire after approximately 24 hours.
  • Unsent items held locally by the share extension expire after approximately 30 days.
  • Uploaded capture attachments are generally retained for up to seven days.
  • Sensitive proposal payloads are generally removed after approximately 24 hours.
  • Email excerpts that do not result in retained tasks generally expire after approximately 30 days.
  • Evaluation excerpts generally expire within 30 days after labeling.
  • Certain task feedback may be retained for up to 180 days to evaluate product accuracy and safety.
  • Tasks, messages, notes, preferences, task history, and account information are generally retained while your account remains active or until you delete them or your account.
  • Connection credentials and external resources are retained only while needed for the relevant connection and are revoked or deleted when the connection or account is removed.
  • Security records may be retained longer where reasonably necessary to investigate abuse or comply with law.

Some derived labels, counts, or aggregate statistics may be retained after source content is removed, provided they no longer identify you. Copies may also remain temporarily in routine provider backups or where retention is legally required.

07

Your choices and controls

You can:

  • Edit your profile, tasks, preferences, and saved context
  • Disconnect connected services through the app
  • Revoke a capability or connected account
  • Disable notifications, microphone access, or speech recognition in iPhone Settings
  • Decline optional integrations
  • Request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information
  • Delete your entire dooee account

To delete your account, use the Delete Account control in dooee’s account settings. Deletion removes your account and associated user-owned data, including connected-service resources under our control. It may take up to 30 days to complete cleanup across all service providers. We will notify you when deletion is complete where reasonably possible.

Deleting dooee does not automatically delete information retained independently by a third-party website or service. You may need to manage that information directly with the relevant provider.

You may also contact dooee@adila.studio for help with a privacy request. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling a request.

08

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to:

  • Know whether we process your personal information
  • Access or receive a copy of your personal information
  • Correct inaccurate information
  • Delete personal information
  • Restrict or object to certain processing
  • Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent
  • Obtain information in a portable format
  • Appeal a refusal to act on a privacy request
  • Complain to a data-protection authority

We will not discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right.

For users in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or Switzerland, we process information as necessary to provide the Service, based on your consent for optional connections and device permissions, to pursue legitimate interests such as security and reliability, and to comply with legal obligations.

For United States residents, we do not sell personal information or share it for targeted advertising. We use potentially sensitive content only to provide the features you request, secure the Service, and comply with law.

09

International data transfers

dooee and its service providers may process information in the United States and other countries. These countries may have privacy laws different from those where you live.

Where required, we and our service providers use legally recognized safeguards for international transfers.

10

Security

We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information, including:

  • Encryption in transit
  • Encryption at rest where supported
  • A separate encrypted vault for website credentials and session secrets
  • Scoped and expiring service credentials
  • Access controls and separation between processing components
  • Retention limits and deletion workflows
  • Monitoring for unauthorized access and operational failures

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

11

Children

The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact dooee@adila.studio so we can investigate and delete it where appropriate.

Adults may use the Service to organize household or family responsibilities that concern children. In those situations, the adult is responsible for ensuring they have authority to provide the relevant information.
